Description

This simple design is light-weight, and combines the sophisticated look of the fine wire wrapping, to contrast with the natural textures of the chipstone.  Hooks are hammered on an iron block to strengthen the metal. This design is limited to the larger chip stones in my collection, to best suit the needs of the spiral. Thicker 20 gauge wire is used to emphasize the spiral design. a simple bend of the earing hook keeps your eye on the wiley spiral.

Most stones sized around 6mm-8mm. Amazonzite runs a bit bigger.
