I am a life practioner. I love to help people.
Some ways I help people are by using my graphic design skills for practical business needs and professional appearance, but I also can help people with their spiritual quest. I am attuned as a Reiki master, practice tarot, angel and energy card reading, and share positive vibes through art.
I was gifted my first tarot deck when I was in middle or high school, by my friend’s mom, who was a practicing Pagan. As an adult, I have learned that my paternal grandma’s mother has what she cared “healing hands” and my maternal mother’s grandma was a curandera. I never knew either of these people, but it is fun to know.
Some of my art is inspired by visions that I have had while meditating or in one case, under physical crisis. Some art is inspired by seeing life events unfold, with a perspective that seemed important to me. I do think I channel spirit when I am practicing my forms or art.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and have formally trained in dark room photography, drawing with pencils or charcoal, and have studied art history with a great museum curator. I like abstract art but when I go for a painting based on reality, I try to re-create reality to the last dot.
I enjoy nature photography, bird photography, abstract photography and portraits when someone grants me permission.
I also like to create jewelry. It is a bridge between spirit and design. I wire wrap and solder silver, and add in gemstones to create this wearable art. One of the reasons I like this is because I can design earrings that I can actually wear, as my ears are not pierced. I also like the process of creating the pieces, knowing it is real silver (and won’t hurt one’s skin), having/sharing jewelry made with heart and my own hands, and knowing the piece is truly unique.
I have also taken a hand to writing music and dabbling with synthetic music. There are so many different ways to express emotions. I am not sure if the music will ever go anywhere.
I am thankful to have a more fulfilling life after spending some years of life, learning about what not to accept.
I enjoy the chance to help you. I think I am a pretty nice person to meet. How can I help you?
