This simple design is light-weight, and combines the sophisticated of the fine wire wrapping, to contrast with the natural textures of the chipstone. The fancy wire wrapping of this earring allows for the stone be be securely locked into the metal. Hooks are hammered on an iron block to strengthen the silver.

- No two chipstones are exactly alike. Chipstones are generally between 5mm – 8mm and sizes are generally matched by sight.
- Emerald, moonstone and garnet chips run on the smaller end, about 4mm – 6mm.
