Judgement Day – My First Song

Judgement Day – My First Song

Well, I have been wanting to make music for awhile. I kind of thought I would find the time, but with hands-on renovations on my house, my parents’ house, and then my grandma’s house, plus needing to hustle do to my reduced pandemic pay check, I had a lot of diversions from my goal. I finally finished one of my client websites recently, and I am a heart beat away from finishing the other client site on my queue (which, I do need to finish so I can break even on my business account this year). Another good point about making music is that it does not cost money, as I already have the fixed expenses paid for (instruments, mic, software), while I pay down my credit card.

Anyways, as part of the pandemic, as you know, people just stopped going out. I was single during the pandemic, social distancing… solo. I decided to give Tinder a shot and quickly gave up on it. It turns out, most of the messages I got on there were males wanting a female domme. I did give it a shot in a virtual sense, but after a few attempts, it was not satisfying. What I really wanted was an in-person relationship. But, with an open mind, I did give it a try, which I did find it helped to inspire some lyrics.

By coincidence, this Tinder thing was something around Christmas 2020. When I heard this song on the radio somehow (because I really don’t listen to Christian music), I thought the song had a few points that could be taken out of context and sound kind of kinky.

At first, I went all-in with the kink factor of this song, but I actually found I had trouble singing some parts, as they just weren’t me, so I scaled it back to what I could sing with pleasure.

Tonight, late Christmas, I had the time to re-write a few of the lyrics and re-record the vocals. I work most days, so it is a wonderful, easy going, day off. I do think I am happy with this version of the song. I know, as I get hatemail from other things I do, people may not like the song. People may be offended. People may find it comical. I can’t stop expressing myself for the fear of what some people may do. Hey, even if this song is popular as an internet joke, it’d still be popular!

As a graphic designer, I am tempted to make a kinetic type video to pair with the song, while, as an artist I do want to make a video-based music video, but I suppose those could come later. (Man, I am sure I will have my mind buzzing at night imagining a storyboard for such a video!)

Here is the song:

Judgement Day – Lyrics and Music by Ellice Sanchez

Update – Here is the video. I have done fancier kinetic type videos for business applications, but I prioritized speed as a factor in this endeavor.

I do have more songs lined up. I will probably post them on a collective “songs” page at some point.

Also, for your personal enjoyment, here are the lyrics:

Judgement Day Lyrics by Ellice Sanchez

Fall on your knees.

Tonight, you’ll be calling me goddess.

Do you think I am here to please you?

No, I am here to seize you.

I’ll be locking you away

And giving you your freedom.

Chains on and locked up,

You are now my prisoner.

By the end of this song,

you’ll willingly surrender your keys.

Prepare to face your judgement day.

Fall to your knees.

Fall to your knees.

I said, fall to your knees.

You’ll enjoy obeying my command.

Am I your goddess?

Who do you pray to?

Who brings you pain?

Who grants you mercy?

I’ll reward you,

if you just,

Obey my command.

Obey my command.

Obey my command.

I’ll be the devil who wears Prada.

But you’ll be wearing nada.

Now, I want you to
blow my horn.

Obey my command.

Obey my command.

Obey my command.

Sit still.

Are you house broken?

Because

Tonight, you’ll be wearing a leash.

If you need further training,

You’ll in for a shock.

Don’t bark.

Now,

be a good boy.

be a good boy.

be a good boy.

I just may take you for a walk.

Heh, Good thing PETA don’t care about you because…

I have a whip too.

I have a whip too.

I have a whip too.

How do you like it?

I don’t care.

I am the goddess.

And you serve at my pleasure.

It’s time you worship me.

Now,

Fall to your knees.

Fall to your knees.

Fall to your knees.

You’ll find you can’t use your hands.

Because they’re all tied up.

There’s no escape.

I’ll have your devotion.

And you’ll pray to no other.

The responsibility is mine

and so is your freedom.

It’s such a huge burden.

But I am the goddess

who answers your prayers.

Now,

Fall to your knees.

Fall to your knees.

Fall to your knees.

Oh night divine,

Do you hear the angels sing?

Fear me.

Love me.

I’ll show you what’s holy.

Let there be dark.

And light me a candle.

I will burn you with passion tonight.

To think you once called me cold.

Hell, I’ll even gift you a blind fold.

Now,

Be a good boy.

Be a good boy.

Be a good boy.

And

Obey my command.

Obey my command.

Obey my command.

Come

here

right

now.

Pray to me.

Worship Me,

Surrender to Me.

You are my servant.

Obey my command.

Obey my command.

Obey my command.
